HAHAHA I know we’ve had a lot of CL posts lately, but let’s be honest, if we’re not on OPPO we’re normally all looking at cars. This post is hysterical. Way to list all the problems with the car in a positive way...

Honest question. How much is a 2004 Mustang GT worth? I’ll be selling mine shortly. Trying to figure out the market. I’m thinking list for 5,500 and take 5 but I might be a bit low.
04, 125K, full complement of bolts-on, gears, quick ratio rack, MM steering shaft, Koni sports, HR springs....... I could go on.
Here it is in action with a dab of oppo dialed in.

Taking the problems into account, I’d be inclined to put it closer to $4k. Not sure if the CT-to-FL-to-MI history helps much, but it’s nice to hear that it spent at least some time out of the rust belt.

Honestly? I have no idea lol
If you’re selling private I would recommend searching CL and Cars.com/Autotrader.com to see what they are listed for in your area and maybe edge them out by a bit.

I’ve done a bit of that. Not a whole lot of comparables. Plus listed for is not the same as sold for. Lots of v6 coupes asking 4K though. It will be interesting.

I think the only positive part of that story is knowing where the car’s been, I don’t know that it necessarily matters that it was those states. Maybe if it was in florida for 90% of the time or more but still...

The thing that sticks out the most to me is that those 2010-12 wheels actually don’t look bad on the new edges.
But ya that’s pretty much like most new edge Mustang ads I saw when looking for my car.

They actually may look better on this than they do on the 10-12 lol.
That’s definitely how a lot of this generation Mustangs are. It’s a 13 year old Pony Car that had to have been owned by someone who wanted to play with it. They typically live rough lives. Especially a GT Vert
