Dunno what about those on the rear, it makes my skin crawl for some reason.....I like the old school ones because it just fit better.

I will never have a mustang without louvers, when I get one.

They look too fat on the back with the newer ones,
the 1969 Mach 1 they look to fit just right because the roof line.

If your Mustang is not a Shelby it doesn't deserve Shelby racing stripes! Otherwise I agree nice louvers

Side window scoops? No thanks.

I don’t like side scoops either.

But the newer cars are fatter than the older ones anyway.
They also make two different kinds. The one in my pic is the ABS plastic one; the metal version should look much better to your eyes.

It does a little bit but the body isn’t right for them because they went after the 67-68 look more then the 69-70, they look ok on the New Edge mustangs.

You bring up an interesting point of topic. My favorite classic years are ‘67-68 and yet I don’t see any of it in the early S197, which is my least favorite in design and I personally don’t think it looks as good as the new edge or even SN95s.
So where do you see the ‘67-68?

I know where that is. Van Dyke in Warren?
And yeah, louvers should never die on certain cars. This being one of them.

The rear and then you look at the front and then you look at the GT of the 67-68 years they are close. A better case could be made for the 65-66 as they had a flat spot before the rear.

I tend to see more ‘65-66 in the early S197 but I kinda see the ‘67-68 in the grill and headlights slightly. The Bullit edition brings it out better.
But I see more ‘67-68 in the S550, somehow.
