So, after reading today’s article about the One:1 development mule being offered for $6 million, I started wondering what you could have instead for that kind of money. Unsurprisingly, the results were quite stunning.

None of those cars are Swedish though
![]() 12/16/2015 at 15:33 |

I’ll take several of these even though I do like the way the one:1 looks.

An enzo for $3m?!? Holy crap
![]() 12/16/2015 at 15:36 |

Or 98 V60 Polestars to form your own racing series with. Better idea?

Faster. Cheaper. Swedish.

As others have mentioned we need to compare to other swedish things. Like this:

![]() 12/16/2015 at 15:47 |

This is really the only viable option.

Cheapest car on list is $173,835. Opponauts, now make list of all the cars you could buy for $175k. Go!
![]() 12/16/2015 at 15:49 |

Lol 173,000 for a BMW that isn’t the M1? No thanks.
I do agree with you though I love cars, but in my mind once prices reach the half a million sum I just figure it’s not worth it. There are unbelievable, fun, amazing cars that can be had for under that sum so why would you spend more?

DAMN SON
![]() 12/16/2015 at 15:51 |

Here you go:
1973 Volvo 1800 ES
![]() 12/16/2015 at 15:53 |

This car WILL kill you. Tis only a matter of time.
![]() 12/16/2015 at 15:55 |
|
See, this is what I'm talking about. Now to kidnap a pilot
![]() 12/16/2015 at 15:56 |
|
Yes. It’s a rare color but like all Ferrari prices right now, its a bit high.
![]() 12/16/2015 at 15:56 |
|
If I were spending $6 mil, I’d be looking at
something else made in Sweden:
Spend about $150K on flight training and certifications, buy this, then ferry people around and make some good money.
Or, go a completely different route, and ferry small packages at a premium at high speed :
![]() 12/16/2015 at 15:56 |
|
Alternatively, 460 Mitsubishi Mirages (and one 944) to create Stef’s dream racing series.
![]() 12/16/2015 at 15:57 |
|
Yes some of the prices were quite shocking.
Very good points.
![]() 12/16/2015 at 15:58 |
|
Haha
![]() 12/16/2015 at 15:58 |
|
At least you’ll enjoy it for a while.
![]() 12/16/2015 at 15:59 |
|
Seemed like the natural progression!
![]() 12/16/2015 at 16:02 |
|
That would work also.
![]() 12/16/2015 at 16:02 |
|
I think it’s the most interesting of the bunch.
![]() 12/16/2015 at 16:03 |
|
Indeed.
![]() 12/16/2015 at 16:04 |
|
Haha.
![]() 12/16/2015 at 16:04 |
|
True.
![]() 12/16/2015 at 16:04 |
|
It’s fantastic. Thanks for introducing me to it!
![]() 12/16/2015 at 16:06 |

This is the best (and most dumbfounding) angle, though.
![]() 12/16/2015 at 16:21 |
|
You’re welcome.
![]() 12/16/2015 at 16:22 |

I keep thinking it’s an amphibious car.

962. All day.
![]() 12/16/2015 at 20:21 |

It truly is stunning.

Disregard cars, acquire decrepit Soviet era fighter jets. Somehow that MiG-27 looks more threatening in a state of decay than it does with fresh paint.

Today I learned 300SLs cost more than actual 962s.
