Imaginary grain.

All the Hickerbillies I knew back in Iowa loved that look! I don’t get it.

Wouldn’t you want the rears to be lifted?
Edit: Giggity.

This is the bro/flatbiller “prerunner” look. This look apparently attracts the fiddies they like to ride.
It has been going on for at least 10-15 years in the 909.

You can’t even see the road. So stupid.

That brings back memories of trying to lift my jeep on a school night in high school. Needless to say it turned out to be a two night job.

That’s the good old Carolina squat!
![]() 12/15/2015 at 20:42 |

I honestly don’t mind a slight squat, but no more than 2 inches of difference.
![]() 12/15/2015 at 20:44 |
|
Strangest thing that I see it every day.
![]() 12/15/2015 at 20:45 |

Having ridden in a few, it does make entry/exit from the back doors a lot easier.
![]() 12/15/2015 at 20:46 |

Also, stance makes it easier.

I couldn’t believe how much of an epidemic squatting was until visiting Charleston last May. I go there twice a year but really kept my eyes open for it last year and it was everywhere .

to each his/her own I suppose - but I don’t get it, not visually or mechanically appealing in any way.

South Carolinians like: Squatted trucks, BMW X5/X6, and 4Runners.

Don’t forget shitty old Buicks!

Looks like the damn things broke their leaf springs. I can’t even ,…
Must be a Carolina thing. Southern Virginia- I don’t see this mess, just brodozers.
(Edit: now that I say that, I'll probable see the stupid things everywhere now, lol).

Makes it easier to unload dirt or lumber :P

That’s a fact!
Whereabouts are you in SC by the way? I’m looking to hopefully move down there in about a year and half. I’d really like to be just outside Charleston.

Come on! It’s only hockey pucks
![]() 12/15/2015 at 21:18 |

Lexington County. I’d advise if you must live near Charleston, live in Charleston.
![]() 12/15/2015 at 21:19 |

Not really. Because it will slide out as you load it.

In truck club circles here in South Texas, we call that a “California lift,” and it’s said with some disdain. Mainly because we’re in Texas, and also due to the fact that our trucks see mudpits and dirt roads all the time...

Blown out looking suspension is a trend?
...I don’t want to be alive here anymore lol

I think we need to troll lift kit enthusiasts by secretly posting super tall trucks and SUVs all over their forums. I’m talking like 5 to 8 feet tall lift kits. Like a truck on fucking stilts.
A good 6 months into this exercise, the dimwits will try it on their own trucks.
It will be entertaining to spot them on the stop light, just getting nauseous from all the body roll caused by stopping their trucks from the mighty speed of 30mph. Or in the parking lot, just throwing their grocery bags up in the bed of the truck as if they’re shooting hoops. And then later trying to get their asses up into the truck with a ladder.
Oh man, that would be amazing :D

I remember the second we crossed into SC this past summer a CS’d truck was one of the first things I saw.

Apparently it is haha.
People like having their vehicles look like their falling apart now.

You didn’t notice the 50 million BMW X6's?
![]() 12/16/2015 at 06:31 |

They pretty much already exist, they just never really caught on.

Mind. Blown.
![]() 12/16/2015 at 11:54 |

Isn’t that like Carolina Squat or some nonsense?

I’ve seen many a Bentley in the middle of no where here, so they’re there.
