Not a VW Thing. A red thing. Used, but extremely low mileage and will get me through the next two years until I can buy a very expensive, very fast new thing.

I was kinda holding out for something northstar-y, but the 2nd gen CTS is my go-to suggestion car, because other than a slightly cramped back seat? The car is just genuinely great at everything. Waiting for a used coupe to come in at my stepdad’s place so I can see about owning a grown up car finally.

This one is nice. Tri-coat red with tan interior, all the options. No Bluetooth, though, which kinda sucks, but no biggie.

I constantly see Prius drivers either going 15 mph under the speed limit choking up traffic, or going 25 mph over while doing their best aggressive NASCAR driver impression.

My only regret is that I no longer have a truck to put a huge brush guard on to exact street justice.

Here’s the thing: a Caddy will be easier to work on than one of the German cars they had for sale that were a bit more expensive. If I’m just looking to keep this car for a couple of years, I’m good with the CTS.

I MIGHT be good with the newer CTS in 2018, too.
