Well Jalops, after sitting 21 years I got my roadster started for the first time this weekend. I still have a lot of tuning to do and have to set the timing.
I’ve installed a new EI dizzy, new hoses/lines everywhere, new starter, alternator and dipped, sealed and painted fuel tank. Lots of other new bolts and nuts. I still have to connect the exhaust pipe.

I did. New floats, needles, gaskets, cleaned the bowls and all that good stuff. Here’s a little before and after.

SU-type carbs rock man. I love them things. Once you know what to look for and how to service them, they are the easiest things in the world to work on.
