You need an asterisk by the V8 and quotes around GT. By the time you send 288hp through that ancient 5 speed auto, pushing a 3800+ pound compact riding on a Toyota suspension, it’s going to feel like a 3 cylinder minivan.

But at least you can enjoy that melted soap bar styling!

So why not an R230 SL500/SL550 Mercedes? Much better riding and driving car than the SC430.

My mother got one to replace her E85 BMW. I may have to go find an SL600 because I love hideously expensive repair bills. (Also V12)

I worked for a guy with an SL55 version of the R230. Crazy weight, but awesome power. I’d propose the XLR-V as a better alternative to the SC430 — night and day difference.
