And they seriously went with the whole “We might not win this one guys!” spiel? Yea fucking right, we know humanity is going to win because you aren’t a good enough director/screenwriter/producer/whatever Mr. Emmerich to pull off any other fucking ending. Hell, I don’t even want to see the movie where the aliens come back. I want to see the movie where Humans invade the aliens home planet, steal all their resources, and force all of the aliens to live on reservations.

Now THAT’S entertainment.

(no I’m not actually a horrible person, just getting tired of today’s movies [AND GET OFF MY LAWN!])

Fun fact, back in April my friend and I were driving across the country and planning to camp on the Bonneville Salt Flats. We weren’t able to because ID4-2 was set up there for filming.

Bahaha, love it!

But seriously, everything nowadays seems to just be explosion/destruction porn. I would love to see something like Independence Day taken to its ultimate conclusion. The humans, against all odds, win the war and now have to deal with the moral and political implications of administering an entire Empire that just had its head cut off. How does that affect the human race? Going from never even having evidence of intelligent life outside our own planet to now having to pick up the pieces of a shattered empire that has survived for millennia?

EXACTLY.

Ender’s Game + a little District 9 + the end of how I played Mass Effect 1 (killing off the Council).
