Recently I discovered the Rallycross Challenge Europe series on YouTube, they posted all 6 rounds of their 2015 season on their channel. From the little research I’ve done it appears to be formed right after the World Rallycross Championship was announced which brought a change to the European Rallycross Championship as well, in a way it feels very similar to how the “old” ERC was run. Any European Oppo members have more information on this series?

Here’s all six 2015 rounds for your enjoyment, each round is 24-ish minutes long so it’s a few hours of entertainment.

Wow pretty cool. Looks like all the rallycross competitors that didnt have a budget to do the world championship made up their own series. Plenty of entertainment to watch though!

Missed this post, but you’re right. It was formed right after the change to semifinals and final instead of A-, B- and C-finals, and ran that format until last year when it adopted the new FIA format as well. It is mainly a lower level championship for Central European competitors, with a level similar to that of the Scandinavian (Swedish) Rallycross Championship.

There are some good drivers though, I’d like to see Stepanenko and Castoral do something in EuroRX in the future. It’s also great fun to see some of the more powerful 2WD cars racing.
