Many of you may have seen the post I made yesterday, which was a massive photo dump of !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . I went ahead and posted it under the assumption that I would’t be seeing too many more neat rides out and about in the 20 winter days before 2016. However, it would seem that the Bowtie’s finest are out to prove me wrong. At the beginning of the week I found this !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , and today I stumbled across an equally rare new Chevy: a Malibu in a color that isn’t silver or black!

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

I shall actually be editing this car into the post to replace the only other picture I had of an SS, which was less than stellar:

Kinja'd!!!

As for the car itself, we test-drove an SS when they first came out (hell, it could’ve been that exact car) and I was very impressed. Most people find the looks boring, but I like it. What I like even more is the way the SS drives, and the way it sounds:

I think it’s well worth the $43,000 MSRP (before rebates, which GM loves), but this is Jalopnik, and we don’t buy new cars here. So I’m sure in three years it will make a fantastic $20,000 car, and in 15 years it will make a fantastic $5,000 car. It’s just a fantastic car.

I admit, I have mad love for Nebraska. Last time I was in Lincoln, I saw a sweet Olds 442 running around....

Plus, y’all have Amigos and Runza, which are both epic and winning.

YES! Runza especially. One just opened up right down the road from my house!

The closest Runza to the house is about a 45 minute drive, so I make a trip up to Falls City, NE about every two weeks to get some.

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

I often say the same thing, but usually in response to the delusions of Cornhusker football fans.

Sorry, had to.

Nice a lot better than the platoons of Malibus or Malibi that Chevy was putting out in recent years. With the recent production of similar/familiar style Camaros and Mustangs, I still waiting for Chevy to put out a new Malibu that’s a throwback/salute to the 68 Malibu.

This is a dream car to me. If I could afford this, I’d buy the manual version in a heartbeat. But I don’t have that kind of money. I do however really need some guidance. I know this is not the place to be posting, but I really need help buying a car; a guide with true Jalopnik force behind it. I posted a community question about it on my profile but I really don’t know how to get responses. Please any help is much needed and greatly appreciated. I need help from the Jalopnik community. Thank you to anyone who reads this, you are a kind soul.
