I call BS on this one. $2700 for a Galaxie in this shape is too good to be true. On the other hand I doubt it is worth $27,000 so I wonder if it is an error or not?What say you Oppo?

I would not think there is the slightest chance he meant to say $2700. Even $5700 would be crazy cheap. $27,000 seems likely - a really, really cherry one might fetch more than that at one of the sillier auctions, so that might inform his “worth a lot more”.

Still, you could call him and see if he ragestrokes at you being like the 90th caller. Or if it’s a scam, you can get in line for kidney harvest number 26. Either or. That 1% chance he meant $2700, though...

I know the feeling, believe me. One reason I snagged the Capri, actually - so I could answer the question “yes, but are my funds tied up elsewhere in a way that’s awesome?” If you have a ridiculous car waiting in the wings that you’re overextended to have already, then it makes ridiculous cars of the same category seem way less like you’re missing out.
