I live in a neighborhood that is gentrifying at a pretty fair clip; that’s not to say there isn’t still the occasional firebombing.
The wife and I were walking to a friend’s apartment for a birthday party when we happened upon this crispy van right outside their building. When our friend got home from work on Friday it was still smoldering, and no one has bothered to deal with it since.
You can see the fire didn't start in the engine bay - you can't tell in the pictures but the whole back is basically collapsed, so I think that leaves either the aforementioned firebombing or someone living inside accidentally starting a fire with a hot plate or something. Always sad to see one of these old Chevy vans go.

If I ever could travel in time there would be two places that I’d love to see: 1970s/1980s New York where you could be robbed in the middle of the day and Berlin as a divided city during the same period.

You don’t have to go back in time for that, someone grabbed my wife’s phone out of her hand a couple weeks ago at like 3:30 in the afternoon.

Yikes I wonder why it was torched. I doubt insurance would pay much. To be honest I always associate these vans as molestor vans, idk why I just do lol.

Right out of her hand?! What area was this? I need to stay out of it.
