Not that one, but one exactly like it. It was part of my review of the Xtreme Xperiences, uh, experience. I got three laps in the car, full tilt, with a friend of mine who happens to instruct with them in the passenger seat. It was shoed with extra sticky Pilot Super Sports, which only highlighted how amazing the grip is in this car.
Any questions?

Why didn’t you steal it?

Did it stick between 4th and 5th gear?
(I have no reason to ask this, just wanted to sound knowledgable.)

2. did it have ceramic brakes?

How many racing theories that you thought were right were actually wrong? I’m sure the instructor gave you some basics in cornering and overall track moves. I did something similar through work and I found out I had so many theories I thought were right to be very wrong.
Example 1: On the brake while turning. Big no no.
Example 2: Understeering a bit? Give it throttle to control the rear for (oversteer). NOPE!

When I did this a few years back (also with a 458), the car had aftermarket brakes which I thought was pretty neat.
Don’t remember the tires, though. Just the abundance of grip and stopping power...

How many times did it catch fire? If you say less than 6 I’ll know you’re lying.

Will it baby?

It wasn’t my first time at Driveway, or my first time with an instructor, so nothing was really debunked for me. It was mostly just getting used to the power and grip of the car. Last car I drove there was the ND miata, so it was a huge difference.

These were the stock steel brakes. All good, no fade at all

I would daily drive it in a heartbeat. That and it had the steel brakes, which were plenty to be honest.

Grand Theft Auto is best left a video game, not a lifestyle

I’m about 5’10, so I fit fine. Getting in with a helmet was a tad hard though

I’ve driven a few decent sports car, but I’ve never driven one with ceramic brakes - always wanted to try them.

It’s a pricey option (10 grand or so) but those are pricey cars.

Most owners get them because the brakes command a premium when sold
