Just finished watching one of my childhood hero’s finish his last season. He came so close to a 5th Championship, but in my eyes, is still finishing a champion. I loved growing up watching Jeff race on TV with my grandad whenever I came to visit on Sundays. Now I guess I need someone new to cheer for.

Jeff is a real class act, I’m not a big NASCAR guy anymore but I was pulling for him today. Would have been cool for him to end his career with a championship.

I’ll be honest. I grew up hating Jeff because I was a Dale Sr. fan. Over the years, though, I started to respect him more and more. Definitely a class act and a fine example of NASCAR’s past glory.
