I propose an OPPO Challenge. Reply below with the best looking Red cars/trucks that are 2016 and below $30,000.

I vote this Ram single cab with a 5.7 Hemi V8, 8 speed, and 20 inch wheels that I priced out online for $29,860. All it needs is to go to my dad’s shop and get lowered just a little bit.

All of the 2016 colors are new, except for one. Black (non-metallic), Magnetic (metallic grey), Kona Blue, and the “premium” colors: White Platinum (light pearl) and Molten Orange (still hangin’ around).

Shame, because three of those are boring, and the other two are $600 extra.

Sadly, it was just the outside that was clean. The frame had fairly serious rust issues (as all Japanese-made trucks from the era did), and when I traded it away it was ~ 6 months away from needing a new gas tank and all new lines.

The farm kid I traded it to had big plans of pulling out the stock G63B (carb’d single cam version of the 4G63 4-cylinder found in the Eclipse) and swapping in a 6G72 (the motor from the Dodge Stealth). I’ve heard of it being done successfully once. I imagine the poor lil’ guy ended up in Project Car Hell. Shame, really.

Interesting how 30K gets you a V8 pickup here but over in Europe you’re stuck with a 3/5 door hatch...still, with turbo fours and fives, they should be pretty agile little things, good for a nimble backroad jaunt.
