AKA, StarQuest.

Boxed fenders, wrap around rear spoiler, external door handle, and rectangular side mirror...

It is on my list... but that is a significant list... A60 and A70 Supra, FC-3S RX7, S130 280ZX, or a Z32 300ZX...

To be honest, if StarQuest had Daytona’s roofline (rhombus side windows, raked-forward b-pillar,and the sleek C-pillar buttresses, and optional T-tops...), it might be at the top of my list. Daytona loses due to FWD with a K-car base. StarQuest is good and properly rear-driven, but the roofline isn’t as gracious as the cars I mentioned above.

If Daytona and StarQuest had been ONE car, instead of two different cars... and relatively light with the turbocharged motor, It may have given F-body Camaro and Firebird, and Fox Mustang a run for their money.

First glance, I was thinking either an RX7 with flares, or a later Starion.

That B-pillar trim narrows it down to Starion.
