Here I am, minding my own business, and this douche of a Pheasant decides to get out of my way too late and I hit that bastard at 70mph. direct hit to the mirror, somehow bends the wrong way and knocks the glass out. Luckily the wire for the heater element held long enough for me to find a spot to pull over. Glass popped back in fine, broke the side repeater lens though.

Well he won’t do it again. I was starting to slow down as is was going from 70mph to a 50mph zone. It’s best to hit them, rather than take avoiding action, you could cause a crash.
