From now on, the day before Halloween will be known as “Bring your clapped out car to work” day... because driving it around scares the shit out of you.

Oooohhh, I need to get to work and be productive.

I’m at work being productive right now. It sucks.

My clapped out car doesn’t have a hood yet. Does that add or subtract from its Halloween worthiness?

Definitely adds.

What is that? With a slightly lower stance and well fitted wheels that could be a sweet sleeper.

The body is straight and clean and the mill has a lot of potential. However, the rest needs tons of work. Sketchy as hell driving it today. Hasn’t been on the road really in years... Better part of a decade, now that I think about it.

I did! No doubt clapped out, but dammit I love the thing.
What year is the Nova? Stock (other than wheels)?

I was wondering more what model of car it was but I found it now; 4th gen Chevy Nova.
Perfect blank state for a sleeper, pro-touring style, like so:
ignore the slightly gaudy (IMO) paint scheme.

I don’t know what it says about the American auto industry at the time, but with with the right suspension package, THAT was probably our best handling car.

And... my DD is a ‘15 WRX. Two cars universes apart.

‘76. Previous owner dropped a 327 in it, came stock with a 250. Exhaust was upgraded and they popped a TH350 under it.

Nice! Hope to see more of it.
