I’d been meaning to get around to posting this. I had been slightly on the fence, but that artbook is a definite buy now.

It’s a shame that we almost certainly won’t be able to repair and drive one, like in Fallout 2, but I understand Bethesda wanting to keep players on foot. Whizzing by in a car, you could easily miss a lot of the cool stuff they’ve certainly scattered around the wasteland.

My favourite’s probably the tiny, red three-wheeler.

That pretty much sums it up. When I first got into Fallout I thought cars were the one thing the game is missing, but as I played more I realized how much bigger everything seems without them.

I wish we could get a bike or maybe a homemade car, not much faster than a horse or bicycle.

I love how you can recognize some of the inspirations the designers had with some of the vehicles. The Isetta with the small red one, the Studebaker or Tucker bullet nose... some 50’s Mercury Custom and maybe even some Aston Martin? 10/10
