I’ll keep you scratch free, I promise! On Sunday, I will be teaching my wife to parallel park.

She doesn’t have a driver’s license. Next Saturday she is taking a driver’s course (required by state). After that, we will make an appointment at the DPS so she can take her driving test.

We’ve been driving around for a while. She drives good for a complete rookie that has never driven a car. Though, she is mean as hell on a go kart. She used to have one when she was around 5 or 6. Even now she can rip it hard. She kind of sees the wagon the same way. A couple little random mistakes but good overall. Once she nails the parallel parking part then i’m confident the rest will go smooth as eggs.

I had her practice with diecast cars for now and watching videos in Youtube. We’ll see on Sunday when we practice here on the street.

The first time I curbed my wheels on my then new FocuST, I was enraged and cursed myself out. The following day was the best day ever, cause then my car was fully broken in, and I no longer cared about little scratches like that. The funny thing is, when you no longer care about curbing wheels, you end up parking perfectly every time.
