Here we find a Mk1 Golf GTI. Look carefully and we see that someone has gone to some trouble and expense to ensure it is not as other Golfs are.

Was it perhaps a funny looking squashed golf?

A single wiper conversion? Pfft. Take a look at the proportions on this one:
The width is a little different as well. No single wiper will cover this one.

So it has a popup sunroof and one wiper? I spy a GTI grille too, is it not?

What is that? Did they stretch a golf and put it on a 928 chassis??

That is awesome. At first I was like, “dang, those phone dials look nice on that Golf,” and then I was like :0
Looks like it was very nicely done, too. If you didn’t know what a regular Golf was supposed to look like, you’d be forgiven for thinking it’s factory.

That doesn’t look like the factory sunroof I’m familiar with.
EDIT: oops, someone said that already.
