I’ve never seen, or maybe never noticed, the two latest Mustang gens directly next to each other. The 2015 is a great looking car, very modern in comparison to the previous gen. They were the same color so that was kind of cool.

I like the old face, but the new ass.

Yeah, the high bulky look of the new pedestrian friendly hood really looks awkward to me. That’s a feature I don’t like about the M4, it has a similar hood that’s a huge flat panel and drops off suddenly. Certainly makes figuring out where the corners are difficult.

I know they’re close to the same size, but the old gen looks so much bigger than the new here.

It was definitely taller! Another cool thing was that both were manuals.

I can’t justify a new car right now. Really not a new performance car in the snow-belt. REALLY not a 435hp RWD performance car anywhere near snow.
But I badly want a 2016 Mustang in Deep Impact Blue with a black painted roof, and all the options, for a Mach 1 conversion that I have all planned out, and even a 1:64 proof of concept... inspired by the 1969 Mach 1. And it would be glorious.

I like the old ass. The new one is too slanted, low, and wide for me. But I’m biased. :)
