Just as beautiful and graceful as any Aston since.
Interior was just like most else from the 90’s: plasticky and meh .

wouldve gone with the e31, but they began 8 series design in the mid 80s and launched in ‘89.

Wasn’t the E46 early 2000s?

On the more pedestrian side, I always thought the sixth-gen Civic was a great, clean design. My ideal DD would be something like a 6th gen 4-door except RWD. Light, nimble, simple, and fun. Basically an updated E30 made by the Japanese.

It’s all about the D, The FD RX-7. What have I won?

I came here to say e39 and XK.

I’ve taken quite a bit of heat for this, but I think the EG Civic hatchback is one of the best looking cars ever made. It’s a bit boring in stock form, but a modest drop helps a ton. I’m not sure there’s ever been a better hatchback shape - though the CR-X comes close.

Viper’s a classic.
I always thought the cloud cars were pretty well styled, especially for an econobox.

I much prefer the facelifted 6th gen. Small changes(longer shaper headlights, bigger grille, and a different front bumper), but I’d never buy a 96-98 just because I think the 99-00 looks so much better.

And it’s got a tailgait! I like the 5th gen in general, but hatches are the best.

I think that Stratus, Seabring, ... what ever the Plymouth was called. Might have been good looking at the time, but i can’t say it’s aged well. But Im not really a fan of any of the Chrylser/dodge styling from the 90’s. Except the Ram.

The FD3S RX7s that graced both LHD and RHD markets! (all of the 90s models prior to the Spirit R were special)

This is hard for me because I really love 80’s styling, so that’s what I think of then I think great designs. but since we’re talking 90’s. Well I want to say E36, but lets be honest that design screams 80’s, it’s boxy, angular, and sharp unlike the 90’s smooth curves, because it was probably drawn in 88. So Legacy GT wagon, sleek simple, purposeful, still kinda exciting. and with some nice wheels too.

Sure they’re definitely from the 90’s, but I can’t think of anything from the time period/comparable class that has aged better.

I loved the look of the 9-5 enough that I bought one. And then 4 more.
Granted, it didn’t get the sexy lip kit until the Aero came out in 2000, but the overall design is rather timeless.

I’d much rather have an Accord of the same era. And I think they would have been around the say price point originally.

Peugeot were pretty on-point back in the ‘90s. All their mainstream cars looked great, both pre-and-post facelift. (I’ve posted pictures of the facelift versions because they’re more ‘90s-ish’—the pre-facelift designs felt a little more late eighties.)

Well, you did say you like the 80’s styling, so that makes sense.

These right here. I really can’t stand 90s design (It’s like they’re trying to be curvy, but they don’t have the manufacturing ability to knock out a curve with a radius of less than an inch), but damn if VW didn’t do something right with the Corrado.

Yeah, good point. I just pulled a random image from Google. I prefer the facelifted ones as well.

Just from General Motors:
1991 Oldsmobile 98
1995 Oldsmobile Aurora:
1991 Buick Park Avenue
1995 Buick Riviera
1992 Cadillac Eldorado
1992 Cadillac Seville
1994 Cadillac Deville
1993 Cadillac Fleetwood
To my eyes, at least, GM styling really did start finding its way again in the ‘90s. It was as if their designers all had to gradually wash the bad taste of the Roger Smith era out of their mouths before they could start doing attractive cars again.
