Am I reading this right? Does this !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! really have a Buy-it-Now price of just $1,990? I mean, the miles are crazy high, but still. Really? Something doesn’t seem right.

200k is now crazy high mileage for these? I have heard numerous stories of people doing wayy more than twice as much with them.

Step one: buy it.

Step two: sell everything off it you can.

Step three: V12 LeMons racer.

I dunno about you but I’m not rich enough to keep a $2,000 V12 BMW on the road. Think of the price as more of a “deposit.” The real cost will hit you (like a sledgehammer) later.

I think you could turn a tidy profit on buying it for $2,000 and parting it out. The wheels have to be worth most of that.

Even if it’s dead in the water, I think the sum of its parts is worth more than two grand.

Probably insanely broken.

Probably $5,000 worth of work needs to be done.

The interior looks so grungy that I’m wondering whether it’s a flood car.

It’s probably an everything car.

Older 7 series BMWs show up all the time on my local (or semi-local) CL. Always with a supper low price that has me very close to buying one for the heck of it. I don’t care if it stays on the road for much more than a couple thousand miles, I just want to experience some V12 goodness.

It’s a V12 BMW. Doesn’t surprise me at all.

There is one for sale near me as well. I wouldn’t touch it with a 10 foot pole. A 17 year old BMW with a V12 made from 2 inline 6s and 2 engine computers for each side of the motor. Not to mention it’s not much faster than a V8. No thanks.

I can see stuff broken just by looking at the pics. Cluster is shot. Typical E38 pixel issue. Interior looks like someone’s been shitting in it. Needs a front bumper. All the caps are missing from both bumpers which seems strange.
