Nah, People get carried away with that and it doesnt make much additional power. The exhaust system is getting rebuilt with a premade header, and some bulk stainless I have sitting around. An OEM replacement cat will be used, in the same position, and a exhaust system fabbed up. I will pick a somewhat ‘rumblier’ muffler with no resonator but I’m not going full redneck. Part of an expedition vehicle is endurance and road manners. If its too loud to drive 300 miles, then it wont be much fun for the off road adventuring that follows.
