Mam came in tonight and told me the Laguna was making a noise. Jumped in and sure enough there’s a squealing from the rear, assumed binding brakes. Got out and I could feel the heat coming off the passenger side rear brake, put a temp probe on the disc and it read 85 degrees C, the rest were all at ambient air temp.
The thing is it could just be that it needs a brake rebuild, but it could also be a problem with the automatic (urgh) parking brake mechanism since a few people have had trouble with them. Tomorrow should be fun...
ps: Even though I love the Twingo I miss my Panda.

Man, that D-segment Laguna estate seriously dwarfs the Panda!

It’s a pretty big car the Laguna to be fair. It’s always a bit of an adjustment coming from the little Twingo, although it is very easy to drive.

If that generation had been offered in the US, it would have been considered a compact.

It's by far the largest car on our street here.
