Looks NP to me, though I’d like to call a CFD guy to see what’s gonna happen if the rectangular bit on the sidepod is removed, a la 2009 F1 cars.

Kinja'd!!!

I might also try out wider rear wings, a newer-styled front wing and a double diffuser. Question is... who’s got some CFD?

Removing rectangular bits increases chances of rear-end instability due to outside influences, particularly on corner-entry.

I think what makes it NP is that is comes with a working engine, nevermind the fact that you’ll probably have to cultivate a personal relationship with someone at Cosworth to run it. Most cars like this are sold as rolling chassis.

Ah, I see. That’s good to know.

But boy I’d rip the Cossie XFE for a proper DFV. Or a VTEC Honda (?).

I wonder what class that would be in autocross?

Awesome car. Connor Daly posted some videos of this car running a few weeks back. Wish I could have it.

Terrible. The aero is designed for speeds much higher than seen on an autocross course, wouldn’t be much of a help.

Have you done aero development before?

Those big-ass slick tires would still work pretty well though.

I don’t think so, not sure they’d ever get anywhere near operating temperature. I honestly think a good set of Falkens would work better on an autocross than these slicks would, they’re simply not designed to go slow.

So what this means is that we won’t swap a LS/LT motor in it?
