...and I’m sharing it because why not. Lol. It’s pretty boring, though. I wouldn’t even bother clicking the link.

Well I’m excited - for the post where you get rid of that wheel gap!

Thanks for reminding me I need to raise mine up.
I was planning on removing them, but now that I guess I’m keeping the car for awhile, I might as well let them get corroded.

I don’t believe you took those photos in Illinois. Illinois doesn’t have any hills!

My plan was to do springs and struts next year, but I’m being told that if I get a quality set of coilovers, that I won’t have to worry about salt destroying them, so now IDK what I wanna do.

You should change the title to Subaru Monster Truck Models Monstrous Wheel Gap. ;)

That’s correct, mostly. A good quality set of coilovers should not have any issues with salt - but it’s still a good idea to remove them in winter. I would remove mine for the winter if it didn’t require replacing the top hats.
And in case you’re curious why mine could potentially have issues with salt - the ST coilovers are made by KW and are the same as the V1 but made out of galvanized steel rather than stainless. As long as I don’t get any chips or cracks, they shouldn’t corrode.
For a daily driver that gets very very occasional autocross/track usage, it’s fantastic. Of course, “occasional” means it probably gets more track usage than most people who put coilovers on a street car. Hah
