A restored Neutra above the Sunset Strip in LA. Owned by one of the founding members of Devo. No snow (being from SoCal (but now in the midwest) I believe that snow is something you visit, not something you live in...)

I’ll take it as my winter vacation home. Nothing says I can’t have two houses, right?

Other than the fact I’d have already put a desposit on that snow home, nope.

Oh, a bidding war, eh? Fine, I’ll just move down the street.

Two car garage? You need to get a new real estate agent; or of course you always move to Alabama.

At $14M, the height of nouveau riche tackiness in Alabama, bordered on one side by a reservoir/lake that’ll probably leak and a bunch of small tract homes on the other side. Over-the-top excess built by a failed executive in the medical practice management business with penis envy that wanted to top his boss’s 20,000 sq ft lake house.

Considering that it was built in 1936, a two car garage is somewhat spacious. That’s where I’d park the daily drivers; like Jay Leno and Adam Carolla, I’d have a warehouse or two over in the valley that would house the rest of my cars and shops (wood, metal, etc.). Maybe I’d get a warehouse somewhere in the basin as I really don’t like the valley (too hot, too claustrophobic).

All I can think of is a scene from Iron Man where his house gets lit up from a helicopter.
