I cant stop looking at this.
Ive resorted to searching the owner’s username and reading his build thread on my preferred Ranger forum. This guy has some good ideas, but he’s been working on it since 2007. So I think I can expect my truck to not be where I want it to be for a good 5-7 years. :(
His build thread if anyone wanted to look:

Don’t limit yourself based on what other people do. With the right mindset, you can get it done in three years.

well, he also experimented with a lot of stuff. and it written what exactly is done. in your case, its just a matter of find the parts and more importantly, the money to throw at it.

I know how that feels. You keep coming back to one build or idea and not wanting to let go of it.
For me, it’s this lowered 4Runner.

But not crazy low. I kinda want to track the 4Runner because 2wd.

I dont want crazy low either, the lowest I would go is maybe the height of a cop spec Crown Vic. And TBH, I think BWAD went a little too low with his. Also I can confirm (if you know how to handle body roll) that tracking a 2wd truck is the best experience you will ever have, even if you dont go above 70 mph.

The 4Runner probably isn’t good for more than 85.

So wonderfully period correct, if it had the mustang style hood it’d be perfect (at least for me).
