Every V8 sounds good when totally uncorked. Unfortunately, this leaves a lot of people with ridiculously loud V8s that don’t necessarily have any power to back that sound up.

Where did you read decently reliable from?
Mechanically yeah, they are not that bad. But all the electronics and gremlins eventually become nightmares made flesh.

I Sawzall’d the muffler off my 5 Series. Obviously it doesn’t sound like a 4.4L V8, but the straight six sounds like sex
