The seat I had originally gotten from Pick N Pull last Friday is now all cleaned up and electrically sound. I just need to get some terminals for the wires and I’m pretty much ready to build the base for it!

[This is Forza Acura , my attempt to build a driving simulation rig with a real car seat and a Logitech G920. All installations of the project will be under the tag “Project SIMULATOR”]

Junkyard seat rigs rule!

I went for less support and more comfort and went with... a minivans captain chair... awesome to sit in for a couple hours or more..bad when your throwing your whole body into turns

my buddy has a tl seat on the floor of his appartment and a wheel we use for forza 6

I hooked it up to a power supply and let the motors do the talking.

Honestly? Two reasons.

First was that the minivan seat was free. I’m cheap and free is great

Second is that finding a clean manual no power leather seat is near impossible by me.

If I move in doing it right though and getting something much nicer

Oh my is it a bit chilly in here? Not to worry, I shall just flip this switch and- AAAAH that feels nice. Nothing like driving a McLaren F1 around Spa with a warm rump.

Ah, free beats pretty much anything else especially if it’s in good condition...I guess in our area there are more Swede specific junkyards to visit, and I don’t thing it would be too difficult to rig a power seat?
