Somehow this all works together. The car styling, the stripe and the 3 spoke wheels. If there was no pic I’d call it stupid but it actually looks awesome.

That looks really fucking awesome, perfectly goes with the car.

I think Meatballed works quite well, or Ikea’d.

I believe “ris” means rice in Swedish. You can start there.

Looks great and so period correct. Nice job.

Rice Rating: 1/10

Come back with a giant tach on the dash and some demon camber’d 20 inch monospoke rims. That’ll give you a solid 9 on the rice rating scale.

Not yours? Damn that is a good looking 9000...all the Type 4 Platform cars are really nice looking, actually...

Yeah, I think I have too much of a taste instinct to properly rice it out. If I wanted to take it further down the road to silliness I’d aim for a biplane spoiler, Sierra Cosworth style, because airplane heritage, amirite?

I miss mine so much, is it an Aero? Any modifications? Looking for another as a second car, can't decide between 9000 and 9-5.

It’s an Aero alright, and it has a Nordic Stage 3 tune with bolt-ons and 25mm sway bars. I tried a couple of 9-5s before picking up this 9000, and they were quieter to drive but also heavier and surprisingly more cramped-feeling.

They certainly responded well to their early-90s facelifts; the early Croma and 9000 were pretty bland.

Yeah, I found a guy selling old-style “SAAB TURBO” decals on eBay and he offered me a full stripe kit. I couldn’t resist.

Nice! I've heard the 9000 is bulletproof up to 600whp, never got to do anything fun with my CSE in the short time I had it. Main draw for the 9-5 is wagon, plus more reliable? Lol not sure, I guess if you dodge the sludge monster maybe.

Yup! Just check for the tell-tale signs of the perforated seat leather and the second pair of switches next to the seat heater switches.
