Idiotic engine design with an upper oil pan that’s impossible to replace the gasket on without lifting the engine
Inaccurate dipstick. If there’s no oil showing on the dipstick and you add a quart, it will be well above the full line!
Moronic license plate lights. The bracket is a very thin 30-gauge steel which of course crumbles as you remove it. The screws also turn to dust as you try to loosen them. And even if you buy a whole new assembly, you can’t get it back on! WTF?
My next car will be a Toyota, and I will ONLY buy Toyota as long as I can only have oine car at a time. And even if I can afford to have more than one car, the fleet will ALWAYS contain a Toyota!

I love Toyota’s, but they have some pretty fucking dumb designs as well, like exhaust collectors that collect at the joining of the heads and the block which of course are different materials. Though yours sounds more like a tightly packaged FWD DOHC V6 problem.
