Earlier I mentioned that the AOTD had interesting timing

Well, that's because this afternoon I bought this:

I'll take more pictures soon, but it's a 1990 Civic CRX Si!

It has 13X,XXX miles. It's in pretty damn good condition. It was recently repainted and looks great. No rust. Interior is in pretty damn good shape for a 25 year old car. Mechanically it's pretty much perfect, needs a new valve cover gasket but that's about it.

Yes, the tails are horrible, but it came with the original. It also had horrible wheels but again, had the original. I'm making a list of work to do: I want it to be bone stock as possible, because it's so hard to find clean stock CRX, let alone SIs.

How much did I pay you ask? $2550. Yep.

These lights are always terrible, but I'm not sure if this is the lighting, it straight up looks like actual kitchen tin foil.

The wheels were horrific too, but it came with the stock lights and stock wheels. I already put the stock wheels on, but they need new center caps (or for the center caps to be repainted)

Yeah...I have the originals of those as well but one is cracked. That's probably going to get replaced.

Fast and The Furious made this crap way too mainstream. Say what you want about modern tuner cultureand stuff, atleast it's more visually appealing than thousands of stickers, vinyls and foil lights, which are outdated as hell now.

If I had a CRX I could only really keep it as-is.

Like the Supra, I'd keep it stock for the most part. Rims are the only changes, and stuff that doesn't effect the original stock body
