You gotta love a 2nd Gen Z28. Especially one like this.

My mom had one of these back in the day.

I refuse to buy that car, or even read what was written, because of the seller typing in all caps. Also CP.

Nice! Jealous. I've always been a huge fan of them.

Lol, yeah, that is definitely annoying. I don't know, I wouldn't call it a CP. If it were stock and had less rare options, yeah. But the options of the car, combined with all the work put into it, I'd be willing to drop $13k for it.

if only she hadn't gotten rid of it 10 years before I was born ; )

Ah, damn. Still cool, though.

actually late second gen Z28s are soaring in price. If this car was still all original its near a $20k car. That third pedal is a huge plus for a higher value. I like the car but couldn't register it where I live. 1975 and later cars still need to pass smog.

It seems like a good deal at $10k, but I guess I could see higher. Maybe I just don't like the seller haha.

One of these was my first car. I still have it. There's a lot of reasons they get maligned including high weight, low horsepower, and stone-age tech suspension, but I don't think I would love cars as much as I do without having to have learned driving and mechanics on a barely running 1981 z28. It still looks identical to when I got it, but it's in the que for some suspension updates and an ls swap after I finish my other project (1963 Thunderbird). I'd give it a solid NP if it was rocking the original drivetrain. Seller is correct you could not get a 350 and a 4 speed in 1981.

Needs moar mullet. But I like the car. A lot.

Dude, nice! That will be flat-out amazing with an LS swap.
The original drivetrain would be cool, especially because of its rarity. I do like the 396 that they put in there, though. Seems like a cool combo.

Lol. Agreed on both counts.

Lol. It wasn't that quick when new, but I would never call it slow. Especially with that 396 in there now.
