I took a 24 hour bus trip once. It was miserable.

I'd rather do it again than be at work right now.

Me too. I had a first class TGV ticket, but some shit happened and I missed the train. It was either this, spend 2.5 times as much on another train ticket tomorrow, or forsake all of my reservations for this weekend and miss some awesome vintage rally cars. I figured it would at least make an interesting entry in my travel diary.

Bus driving used to be a noble profession, so too did long haul truck driving. It is a sad state of the world when we do not appreciate both the ability to go long distances easily and when we do not appreciate those who facilitate our travels.
