The car also has a Japanese "VIN" which is apparently frame number more than a VIN. There's an actual 17 digit VIN listed as well that gives no info back on the online checks I've done, but those were all free stuff so I don't know if a pay service would be more insightful. I'm not paying to find out.

CRAP PIPE!!! This mint 1998 japanese model was just for sale 20 mins(canuckistan) from me last week for 8K. Now that was a steal it sold in under 24 hours.
