Spotted this sweet Subi yesterday while out for lunch. I can't remember the last time I saw one.

I saw one once. Totally thought it was just a badge job, until I realized the Forester STi was an actual thing.

It was never a trim in the states, unfortunately. This one looks like an '07 XT or an '08 XT Limited with an STI badge.

Wonder if it was an STI swap. Because i thought they only made the STI version in Japan.

The turbo engines are pretty similar the the wrx and sti tho so its easy to make them real sti's

I mean, the one I saw had a bunch of STi parts. It could have been an ambitious badge job, but it was still cool.

gotcha. I thought my whole life was a lie there for a second. The XT does run the 2.5 so I thinks it's basically a tune and a few bits, and better diffs, away from an STi

If I'm not mistaken and I could be. There was one year -04 or 05 I believe where the XT got the full STi treatment. Six speed, and all that goodness
