Well, the lobby opens then, green flag drops no later than 4:30. I'll refresh this post every minute or so leading up to the start oft the race so if you're having problems getting into the lobby this is the place to let me know. I might have to use the Firebird Trans Am I was working on for this race since THE SHRIMP is oh so mysteriously fast for no reason whatsoever.

It'll be interesting to see how it does since we're doing the chicane circuit. Friday night we can get on and run a few test laps with el Camaro and see just how fast it is (I was hitting 157 in my Mustang for reference). Figure as long as you're close to that there shouldn't be any problems.

OK, the Camaro is officially confusing as fuck. It has crazy short gearing compared to the Mustang and is down by 30hp but somehow it's 5mph faster on the straights and a half-second faster to sixty. Even weirder is it's only .4 seconds per lap faster than the Mustang (which is negligible at Le Mans), which handles far worse and is slower.

Lincoln because of the better gas milage, interior, and feel of the car. I have driven a new CTS Coupe and a MKS. I'll go MKS all day. The coupe felt cheap on the inside.

Tbh I wouldn't buy either a regular ATS or CTS (V would be a different story) or MKS, I'd get a Mazda6 if I was looking for a mid-size car. I don't really care about interior quality and at that price point you could pick up a FoST or GTI and have 10k left over for a sweet motorcycle or something. Remember I drive an early 2000's Ford product so I'm not jaded in the least as far as interior and build quality goes.

We'd love to have you back man. Sorry if the Sebring race wasn't very close, all the rules we have should mean something like that doesn't happen again. Well, every race after this should be better as far as finishing times go, Le Mans can stretch the field out pretty well but turn in anywhere from 4:40-4:45 and you should be fine.

Cool, I was actually kinda worried about that since we had a lot of one-and-dones in our GT series for that reason and I always felt bad about it. We've been hosting practice sessions on Friday nights if you'd be interested, normally about 3 or 4 people get on at a time so it gives a good feel for how the actual race will go with traffic and the like.

There used to be a forum that played host to both GroupJ and it's GT5 equivalent, FormulaJ. Major discussions/announcements/polls/etc. would be posted there. Impending race announcements would be posted to Oppo. I still have a couple people on Xbox Live/G+, but most of them I didn't network with except through the forums or Oppo and well...a lot has changed in the past couple years (fkn kinja).

I host each week and about 8-12 Opponauts regularly race in the series, occasionally we get a few new guys too. We'd love to have you for any races you can join, both are really competitive and we all drive really respectfully so there's no crashing bs like there is in public lobbies.
