I guess this is a commercial, it appears this man is cheating on his normal engine with a rotary and she throws one at them? I don't know where its from yet, I will look.

I can't blame the Diablo. That Wankel is smaller, lighter, prettier, and (depending on iteration) younger than the V12 in its rear.
Also, this has rekindled my desire to have a rotary like the one pictured as a table centerpiece, lamp base, ir something else. It's mechanical yet artistic.

Cheating with a rotary? Well.... They are quick to blow :)

Smaller and lighter, yes. Prettier than a V12 is debatable, and then there's having more than double the power and closer to 2.5x the torque...

I was solely speaking of aesthetics. My wife could be amenable to having a rotary block and rotor as a lamp or other decoration somewhere in the main area of my house, whereas a V12 could only wind up like Top Gear's coffee table and be confined to the basement where my mini-shop is, where it'd be in the way.
