It's been available for some time now, however many of us who choose not to pay for Microsoft Office either use an alternative version or work on our assignments for classes at our school's computers. Just sign up with your student/college e-mail address and download! Link inside.
Here is the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . If you've already graduated or are no longer enrolled in college, this may not work. Your Office 365 will be functional for as long as you are a student, and if you need to renew your eligibility, it can be done again at any time.

While I'm sure this might be good for some people, I think this is still the best solution for almost all users.
