I get the mystique of 1:1400, sure. But the M3 CSL is a standard M3 with some carbon fiber to add lightness and some programming, right? And some body kit love. Yes, it is sexy, but I'd rather make a CSL clone for a lot less dough.

I'd be interested to see if it actually sells for that price. Seems like a bit of a stretch, maybe wishful thinking on the owners part.

Not exactly just a little lightness and programming, here's a more or less comprehensive list:
Lot more to it than the CRP roof and a little bump in hp. To put it simply, aside from the aesthetic differences, you would not be able to clone a CSL without spending roughly another E46 M3 worth in parts.
