ok, that car wasnt an aztek. sure it had aztec body panels, but the whole thing was tubular space frame underneath. the only think "aztek" on it was the badge

Oh, shit, I never noticed. Look at the engine shot and you can see where there are just body panels not connected to a unibody. That explains how that V8 got crammed in there.
