The world needs more cheap and fun convertibles like this Falcon. And don't even get me started on the lack of convertibles from Cadillac.

"The world needs more cheap and fun convertibles"
Yes, yes it does.

There's still quite a few Cadillac convertibles on the road and they're getting cheaper all the time.
My car club brought over 30 of them to Bowling Green a couple years ago to commemorate 10 years since the introduction of the Cadillac XLR.

Among the many things I want to one day own the XLR is on that list.

That's what I said when they were first introduced. Then 3 years ago, I had to ask myself, "What are you waiting for?" Took 6 months to find, but I'm having a ball.

You got a V? That's just gotta be a total blast.

Yes, it's a V. I test drove 4-5 base models when I went looking for my own and then one day I happened to demo a V model and was blown away. After that, I knew I had to have a V. Here we are three years later and I've upgraded the suspension to all ZR1 springs and sways; upgraded the exhaust with headers, 3" X-pipe, 3" Billy Boat Fusion axle back; motor's upgraded and tuned at 510RWHP/540RWTQ - currently the world's fastest and quickest stock block XLR. Then there's this guy:
Scott Lowery and I are"acquaintances." He runs 10.5 Outlaw series here in the Midwest and swears it's street legal, but that motor!!!

Holy cow. I don't think I would have the heart to do that to a Cadillac.
Pumping yours up to 510hp? Now that is something Cadillac should have done stock from the factory. Mind bending numbers to really make the XLR a legend.
