What an amazing place! I went here after the Detroit Auto Show this past weekend and spent four hours wandering around with my camera. The car Kennedy was shot in, the Rosa Parks bus, a Bugatti Type 41 Royale, an EV1...it's all there! Enjoy a few of my photos; I took literally hundreds.

Thanks - haven't been there, but once went to the Studebaker museum in South Bend. Interesting.

Totally. It was the best weekend ever. My mother gave me the trip as a holiday present. We flew in on friday, rented a shitbox 3 year old Kia Sportage, and stayed at the Henry hotel. I got to see the auto show on Saturday, and the Henry ford Museum on Sunday. I am so glad that I got to experience Detroit.

I really need to get back out there. Been almost 8 years since I went. So much stuff has happened in those 8 years.

Did you get to see the huge, industrial steam engines? Those and all the American household items were really cool and unexpected when I had the opportunity to go there. The place is just so big.
