So it's a Camry. But one from the days when Toyota built to last.

Economical, reasonably rapid, fairly comfortable, ultra-reliable. But god, it's as boring as directional drilling. If it goes for anything like that current price, it's tempting as a runaround.

It is made slightly more interesting by the fact that you don't see many on the road, and none in that condition.

Pretty much every Camry like that I've seen was in exceptional quality.

I really, really wish they offered the headlight cleaners over here. They were available in Canada, though.

They have a real problem with rust in the rear quarters.

My Dad had one of these in wagon form for about 20 years. Bought it knew, and was still running like a top when he traded it. Great A to B cars.

You get even fewer over here. That was the executive Toyota back then...

I've never had a car which had them. Do they do anything?

I haen't, either :(
Yeah they wash the headlight lenses so you can see better in bad weather clear the shit that gets in the way and hampers the lights

Yeah, but do they do anything useful ?

... boring as directional drilling.
Seriously, though, that is a very handsome car. Too bad they're so rare these days.

When I was much younger my family had an early 90's Camry, very much like that but a darker blue. It was a nice car for what it is, ended up selling it to a cousin who drove it to over 350k miles before the body was a brown pile of dust.

wait. Wouldn’t it already be raining in bad weather?

yeah, but the wipers wipe off the rain. They work the same way that windshield wipers do.
They also help with snow and mud. When that kind of shit is on the headlights, it blocks the light so it’s way too dark.

Oh I see.
