There are TWO (2) things wrong with this picture. One is painfully obvious. The second might take a moment.
There might be more, who knows?
(I was going through my old photos and movies on my cell phone and found this. I recorded it a few months ago.)

1. Signal on, car not moving.
2. To get into that space, he should've been signaling right.

I came out of the store 45 minutes later and it was still there. Blinking away.
For all I know, it might still be there today . . . .

1) dat exhaust tho
2) Color on the brake lights are different on each side

1. It's an Alfa Romeo and it's ACTUALLY RUNNING
2. It's an Italian "sports car" BUT... it hasn't set itself on fire!

Those are both miracles. Perhaps they OFFSET what is wrong with the pic . . .

haha that relay is totally stuck on. On my old S4 this happened. even though alot of the relays and FI are Bosch by then, it doesnt mesh all that well with crappy italian wiring

So you're saying this might not have just been a senile driver with a profound misunderstanding of what turn signals are or do?
![]() 01/18/2015 at 10:01 |

No lights in the rain?
OH DIFFERENT COLORED TURN SIGNALS
![]() 01/18/2015 at 10:01 |

1) Its a miata
2) The brake lights arent both the same color

Blinker is on but the car is not running which is normal for an Alfa so that can't be it.
It has mismatched taillights but that's the last remaining Alfa in NY state so I can see how it can be hard to find a replacement so that's not it either.
Ah I got it.
1. It's January 18th and raining in New York.
2. The shopping cart wasn't returned to the shopping cart area.

All of the above. And there's more!
![]() 01/18/2015 at 10:21 |

Well, the FIRST thing wrong with this picture is that it's actually a video...
![]() 01/18/2015 at 10:25 |

The top wasn't redone correctly and there is not enough rust.
![]() 01/18/2015 at 10:54 |

there are no Corollas or Camrys visible in the background. Highly unusual.

Something is up with the bumper aside from the exhaust. Either is falling off or it is for a different car

Oh yeah i lived it.

1. Indicators should never be red, and are never red when lit on any European (market) car.

From what I can see... rain when it should be snowing, an Alfa where the wiring to the rear light is all wrong, the blinker is working when it shouldn't be, that Alfa is a relatively rare series 4 Spider sold only from 1990 to 1993 (1991 to 1994 in the US), the Ford Explorer to the left is calling out to you to buy it and someone needs to return that shopping cart.

The top is up? What a wuss.
![]() 01/19/2015 at 13:29 |

It's Italian and doesn't have a dead battery.......yet.
It's Italian and shows no signs of rust...............yet.

It will soon. And, it will soon.
![]() 01/19/2015 at 13:55 |

1. It appears to be Alfa that is running in the rain.
2. The turn signal lenses are mismatched.
3. The brake light is wired as a turn signal indicator.
4. The rear bumper must be from a different vehicle given the awful fit.
![]() 01/19/2015 at 14:23 |

What I can see is:
- The rear taillights are from different years/markets and there seems to be an electrical problem.
- From the color of the left wing it looks like the fuel cap is missing or leaking
- He/she is running the car in winter without the hard top on ( shame! )
![]() 01/19/2015 at 15:02 |

is the painfully obvious one that it's actually a video or that off-center exhaust?
![]() 01/19/2015 at 15:06 |

I meant "picture" figuratively.
What I was getting at was that it is parked with its turn signal on. And it's the wrong one (the driver had to turn RIGHT into the spot and the LEFT signal is on).
Others have posted other observations which are quite valid as well.

#3 edited. Actually the running light is wired as a turn signal indicator. The brake lights are under the trunk lid.

A Alfa Spider with two different tail lights and might be the wrong bumper on the rear
![]() 01/19/2015 at 18:13 |

It had to be towed incorrectly for it to end up in that parking spot the correct way. No way that thing got there under it's own power..

1. Picture is actually a video
2. New York
![]() 01/20/2015 at 14:15 |

An alpha that is running, and parked between the lines.
![]() 01/20/2015 at 21:13 |

Easy. It's a New York car whose rear bumper isn't half demolished.

Video quality is poor but it looks like the top of the rear left quarter has been reconstructed with aluminum tape? Was the white section of the left rear light white duct tape? The left signal running might just mean that the driver bumped the lever exiting the car, I believe the signals will work with the ignition off on that model, even in the USA.

The first thing wrong with this picture, is it is a video. :)

What"s wrong with the trunk lid? the butt looks too big on this car
![]() 01/22/2015 at 22:08 |
|
That's not a miata, and what's wrong with them.
![]() 01/22/2015 at 22:11 |
|
The miata part was a joke. But the drivers signal is white and the passenger signal is yellow
![]() 01/22/2015 at 22:28 |

Yeah true, it is an Alfa Spider. But the tail lights are mixed up, if it is a non-car enthusiast I can understand, but I don't think a non car enthusiast would own a spider.
