Personally, I've always loved the Ferrari 599 GTO's Daytona seats. What are your favorites?
Fairly similar:

Nothing much to look at, but the comfiest seats I've sat in are:
Saab 9-3 Aero
Jeep Grand Cherokee (WJ)

There are tons I like. Citroen SM is the most unique though.

I always like the WJ seats. No support, but amazingly comfy.

Those are great. I like them in red.
In terms of old seats, I like the Scheels from the BMW CSL.

Good design indeed. Some of the most unique seats I've ever seen.

Those look comfortable yet supportive.

I loved the seats in my WJ. When I was looking to replace it, all I could think about was finding something that was somewhat as comfy. My WK's seats are fine, just not the super plush feeling of the WJ seats. The WK rides a lot smoother.
In a performance car I'd want more bolstering, but for cruising, and particularly long road trips, the WJ seats were hard to beat.

As do I.
Very good choice.

Too many cool options here. Gonna have to go with the buckets from the '69 Yenko S/C.

one: drivers two: passengers three: jump four: back.

Great choice. I'm always amazed at how little bolstering old seats had.

Beautiful and supremely comfortable.
Right now, the best in the industry (including Merc, RR and Bentley):

i've always liked the appearance of the original daytona's seats
but the seats in my XJS are super comfy.
soft, well cushioned, connolly leather.
off color piping—only on the 1990-1991 models.
lateral support bolsters only on the post '88 models.
and heated! fancy for a 1991 manufacture date.

Oh, how cute!
![]() 01/16/2015 at 16:04 |

Yeah, for sure. Whenever I read reviews of those things, the reviewer says that, basically, the only support that you have is your arm against the door panel. Though, I guess they weren't really built for handling?

Your interior looks immaculate.

Haha I can imagine. Well, a few were like the Boss 302.
On a semi-related note, I have always found the Trans-Am Boss 302's seats quite odd looking:

Why these seats?
Because I get to sit in them.

Beautiful seats, but are those actually Daytona seats? I thought they usually had a ribbed pattern like:
Someday I want a car with seats like this Maserati Boomerang:

i wish... that's not mine... from an auction. but i have the same model year and same colors. my while mine is littered with blown fuses, cut off wiring insulation ends, random tops to coolant and oil bottles, my seats are immaculate. i have no idea how or why... but they're great.

You never said front seats only... Sometimes it's nice to put your feet up and relax.

Yes, they are. Ferrari offers many different inserts options.
Heres some examples:
Very nice choice.

What I'm sitting in right now. They're supportive, but unlike with most bolstered seats, they've never been uncomfortable, and I've been on some 3+ hour drives.

Those look terrific and that's great to hear.
How do you like your Genesis?

The 04 ones are the most aggressive. (top pic) All of the later years were toned down because people complained or something (bottom pic). They're freakin' amazing.

![]() 01/16/2015 at 17:36 |

Nice. How are they on long trips?
Is that a fire extinguisher?
![]() 01/16/2015 at 17:37 |
|
Yes. Also, in case you're wondering, it is wrapped in leather and secured with a leather strap.
![]() 01/16/2015 at 17:43 |

Very comfortable actually, even better than the ones on my Tribeca. The hydractive suspension also helps.
And yes, that is a fire extinguisher.

That's good to hear.
I respect people that are prepared.
![]() 01/16/2015 at 18:05 |

Well, yeah. Stuff like the Z28 and the Boss 302 were. But the Yenko S/C or Cobra Jet really only meant for straight line speed.
Huh, those are odd looking!

actually yes. very much ( i m only 160lbs 32 waist)
![]() 01/16/2015 at 19:57 |

Well that's good. I always wonder about some of these sporty seats because sometimes they look quite thin and don't seem like they have much padding.
