Dat Viper or dat Judge.
Viper would be a bitch to dd, especially the acr. The normal ones are pretty brutal.

Viper or Judge pls
But Thema is still the front runner

It would be kind of cool to see him to do something with a rebuilt car like that M6. There's some screaming deals to be had if you aren't afraid of issues, and if the repair was done right you will probably never notice (until re-sale).
It is probably a relatively affordable way to get your ass in a seat you might not otherwise afford.
For the record, that M6 is CP. At $48k, I'd park it in my garage. At nearly $70k (by the time you add taxes, registration, etc) that is stupid money for something some amateur stuffed into a wall.

At first I thought by RR you meant Rolls Royce.

But those are kit-cars in the US.

Interesting. They definitely didn't have that the last time I was there

Porsche 930, without a doubt in my mind. The slant nose is unusual, and those things are damn near impossible to drive without swapping ends. It would probably be downright brutal on the street.
Then again, if his purpose is to see what it's like to live with a particular supercar for a year, then there's no point. I know the 930 will be a pain in the butt.

I got a salvage title 91 Miata a while back. It had a new top, hail dimples in the hood and trunk, and a crappy Maaco paint job. The overspray must've added several pounds to the car. And it has the increasingly typical rocker rust just in front of the rear wheels. It was a little ugly, but it ran and drove beautifully, and continues to do so to this day. I never had any major mechanical problems with it, ever. The current owner texted me today just to tell me she flipped 166,661 on the odometer.

... so? That one is complete and ready to drive, why does it matter that it's a kit car?

I don't think he would buy any car that he can't take somewhere (ie. dealership) to get it serviced.
Also, he wants something that he can sell in a year.

Ahh, good point about the dealership, but that also disqualifies the GTO, doesn't it?
![]() 01/10/2015 at 18:52 |

No because being an old American car there are an abundance of garages that can work on them, no computers and the only complicated part is the carburetor. And any new parts can be bought and delivered overnight from any of the companies like NPD, Year One, Summit, Jeggs, etc... Also it will probably go up in value. The Q1 meanwhile, cannot.

GTO because good ole 'Murican muscle. And it's a GM!

Based on this list, he ought to get a Viper.

Dat Viper......
Ugghhh i would make sweet love to that thing

I wonder how awful the Viper would be...
Also I wonder why the BMW was salvage titled. I wouldn't get it because I don't think I could get enough material out of it, but it looks really nice. Lots of car for that money...

The Viper will leave lasting memories every time you see the burn scar on your leg. It would also be awesome to track...
